Any creative uses for the crochet tablecloth..?
My grandmother hand-knitted herself this great crochet tablecloth as a wedding gift for me, the only problem is- it's not really my style and it doesn't fit in our modern kitchen/dinning room.
Do you have any idea how and where else could I incorporate it in my home? Or do you think I should forget about it?
Thanks
If your bedroom isn't modern, use it as as a table cover for a nightstand in there you can get a round 3 leg table and a glass top quite inexpensively. here's a good example : http://www.improvementscatalog.com/product/code/701677.do?cm_mmc=Amazon-_-Living/FamilyRoomFurniture-_-2009-_-701677&code-macs=MP9W028&code=MP9W028
Another way to incorporate it would be to display it on either a wall or floor quilt rack such as what can be found here : http://www.quiltracks.com/
If all else fails and you really don't like it - take it to your dry cleaner and have them clean and pack it the same way you would a wedding dress. Your tastes will change over the years and preserving it now will keep it ready for when you decide its something you may like to use and/or display.
