Can a rotary cutting mat be used for blocking?
I have a healing rotary cutting mat used for cutting fabric for quilting and I was wondering if I could use it to block crocheted squares?
I have a self-healing cutting mat and had no luck trying to block my knitted objects on it. What I did find perfect, however, were the foam mats for kids. They can be interlocked to make a larger blocking surface. They look like this:
