baking cake?
i am baking a cake and i have no round pans but i have a spring form pan. if i use the spring form pan to bake the cake will it work? or will it leak? and if it works should i just cut it all the way around to have 2 layers?
If you have parchment or wax paper, you can make a "gasket" to prevent it from leaking. Wrap the paper tightly around the bottom of the pan and place the sides over it. Trim the excess. If it's fairly new and in good condition, I don't think it should leak. Better to be safe though. Test it with water.
